Jeremiah 32:27 ~ I am the Lord, the God of all the peoples of the world. Is anything too hard for me?
Is anything too hard for God? Many of us, as children of God, will be quick to answer no to that question. We understand from all our teaching that nothing is impossible for God. However, knowing the religiously correct answer to the question is not the same as living the answer in faith. Sometimes struggles and obstacles will keep piling up and it may be difficult to believe God is working things out for you. Trust that the loving God that knew you and chose you before you were formed in your mother’s womb can handle whatever problems you face. There is no struggle or obstacle that is too big for our God.
There may be others of you that don’t know Christ or have turned away from God. You may feel you have sinned, messed up so bad, or lived your life so carelessly, that it is hard to believe that God wants to help you. But He does, just like He wanted to help the people of Jerusalem that is the subject of this verse in Jeremiah. However, the people of Jerusalem turned their backs on God and continued to sin. They refused to turn from their wicked ways. Just like the people of Jerusalem, we all have a choice to make. Do we continue in sin, rejecting God or do we repent and live obediently to God’s word? You have not committed a sin so horrendous that God cannot forgive and restore you. All you have to do is accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, ask for forgiveness, repent and seek God’s will for your life. His plans for your life are far better than what you can ever dream or think of.
Prayer: Lord, I know nothing is too difficult for you. Help me to live that out not just in words but in actions as well. Help us to surrender our lives and our will for Yours, so that we may life on purpose for You. Amen.
Purpose in Action: What are you struggling with that you feel (perhaps subconsciously) is too big for God to handle? Write out a prayer to God surrendering it to Him.
For His Purpose,
